- The age limit for being a jury member is 12 years.
- Jury members can participate with their class/group, or individually in their family.
- Jury members must read (or being read to) the French or Norwegian edition of the two competing books.
- Jury members vote autonomously. No one, adult or child, has the right to tell them who to vote for. They simply follow their heart.
- The winner of the PADIMA Award 2023 will be announced by Éditions NAKUONA Forlag on 3 June 2023 at the end of a fun cultural and edutainment day held at Fransk kulturhus, in Oslo, Norway. Other gifts and surprises will follow, as well as signing meetings in Belgium, notably at Herve, at La Vie en Magenta.
Group participation in Norway (schools, kindergartens)
- The adult in charge of the group registers via this link.
- The adult in charge organises the reading of the two books in competition:
- At school: They order the books with 10% discount on the publisher’s website Éditions NAKUONA Forlag: www.editionsnakuonaforlag.com.
- At Fransk kulturhus’ library (subject to availability): They organise a visit before 3 June per mail to contact@franskkulturhus
- The adult in charge organises the vote:
- At school: According to the voting method of your choosing, then communicate the results with the list of jury members (with the children’s first name, last name, age, school, city) by email at contact@franskkulturhus.no.
- At Fransk kulturhus’ library: Children place their ballot in the ballot box provided for this purpose at the time of their visit and no later than Saturday, 3 June at 16:00.
Individual participation in Norway
- Register via this link (the parent registers with the child’s first name, last name and date of birth, and their own email address and telephone).
- Read the two books in competition:
- At home: Buy the books on the publisher’s website Éditions NAKUONA Forlag.
- At Fransk kulturhus’ library: during opening hours, Saturday+ or 3 June, the day of the award ceremony.
- Vote:
- At home: The parent communicates the vote by email to contact@franskkulturhus.no.
- At Fransk kulturhus’ library: The child places his ballot in the ballot box and fills out the jury registry book with their first name, last name, age during opening hours, Samedi+ and no later than Saturday, 3 June at 16:00.
Group participation in Belgium (schools, preschools)
- The responsible adult orders the two books in competition with 10% discount on the Éditions NAKUONA Forlag‘s website.
- The responsible adult makes sure the children read or are read both books.
- The responsible adult organises the vote according to the chosen voting method, then sends by email the results as well as the jury list (with the children’s first name, last name, age, school, city) to ednakuonaforlag@gmail.com no later than June 1, 2023.
Individual participation in Belgium (Verviers Region)
- The parent or adult in charge buys the two books in competition at La Vie en Magenta, Place du Marche 13, 4651 Herve.
- The child reads or has both books read to them.
- The parent or adult in charge makes sure that the child gives their vote independently and sends it, with the child’s first name, last name, age, city and country by mail at ednakuonaforlag@gmail.com no later than June 1, 2023.
Participation in any other region in the world
- A parent or adult in charge orders the two books in competition on the Éditions NAKUONA Forlag’s website.
- The child reads or has the two books read to them.
- The parent or adult in charge makes sure that the child gives their vote independently and sends it, with the child’s first name, last name, age, city and country by mail at ednakuonaforlag@gmail.com no later than June 1, 2023.
