The Reading Nights (Nuits de la lecture) of the National Book Centre (Centre national du livre) and the French Ministry of Culture are back at Fransk kulturhus! Save the date: Friday, January 24., 3.30-6.30 pm.
This year, the theme is “heritages”. At Fransk kulturhus, we are offering you a program focused on cultural heritage, with:
- 3:30-4:30 p.m.: meeting around books for children (Tchoupi visits Paris, Picasso’s Guernica explained to kids, Monet explained to kids…). In French.
- 4-5 p.m.: conference: Strasbourg and the monuments of the war of 1870: a laboratory for the Europeanization of lieux de mémoire? (Gilles Vogt, doctor in contemporary history, specialist in the war of 1870). In French, with questions and explanations in Norwegian.
- 5-6:30 p.m.: screening of the film “Paris 1900” (1947), a classic of archive documents. Film in French with English subtitles.
