Baby at the library is the new meeting and activity space dedicated to parents and their babies (0 to 1 year old) who wish to spend a pleasant and enriching time with other families during their parental leave.

I am a parent, what can I expect?

Every week, I participate in activities adapted to the age of my child in order to play and grow in a French-speaking environment.

Dance, manipulation of objects, play of light, reading, etc. All of the educational and pedagogical know-how of the Fransk kulturhus teaching team is at your disposal to give you a privileged moment with your baby, while actively participating in both his awakening and the early development of his language skills.

When is it taking place?

Baby at the library meetings take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. including a tea/coffee break, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Meet at our welcoming premises ideally located in the heart of Oslo.

Where do the Baby at the Library workshops take place within the Fransk kulturhus’ premises?

The Oursons-Pandas room, specially designed to welcome the little ones, offers a space for games, reading and convivial exchange for the group.

Rugs, stuffed animals, adapted games… Everything is there for a great time!

The workshops are led, each week, by Mary, librarian of Fransk kulturhus and specialized educator.

How much does it cost?

To take full advantage of the Baby at the Library offer, we advise you to take advantage of our 10-session card. It allows you to access the animations whenever you want and to benefit from its many advantages:

If this formula does not meet your needs, you can also participate in Drop-In, that is to say for a single session, depending on the places available.
