FAQ: all you need to know about our French courses

To accompany you until Christmas, Fransk kulturhus offers nearly 60 different French courses, for all ages and levels.

Here’s a brief summary of our offer:

What classes are offered for adults?

There are mainly two types of courses.

  • Standard general French courses (24 teaching units): these courses are designed for a rapid progression in both writing and speaking skills, thanks to our interactive pedagogy (levels A1 to C1).
  • Conversation or thematic courses (13.5 teaching units): these courses are designed to improve your oral confidence, around various and current themes (levels A2 to C2).

What classes are offered for children and teenagers?

There are mainly two types of courses for children/teens:

  • Classes for children or teens who are discovering French (45 minutes per week)
  • Advanced courses for children or teens who already speak French (45 minutes per week).

Which pedagogy are the adult and children’s courses based on?

It is the immersion pedagogy (also known as “language bath”) that our French teachers use in class. This pedagogy promotes interactions and communicative situations. It also allows students to progress quickly and in a cozy atmosphere!
