Fransk norsk kafé, the French-Norwegian podcast of Fransk kulturhus , is celebrating its 2nd anniversary with an exceptional guest: the author Didier Blonde!
Often awarded, recognized in the French-speaking world for his work exploring the meanders of memory, remembrance and the mysteries of the past, Didier Blonde has published numerous works, notably with the editor Gallimard, which navigate between fiction and personal narrative. All with a recurring obsession: that of finding traces, buried memories, forgotten destinies.
Among his most emblematic books, let us mention “Le nom des morts”, “Les fantômes du muet”, “Carnet d’adresses” or of course “Leïlah Mahi 1932” which earned him the Renaudot essay prize in 2015.
His latest work, “Oslo, de mémoire“, published in 2024 by Gallimard, takes us in the footsteps of the Norwegian writer Cora Sandel. A literary and intimate quest, between Oslo and Paris, which becomes an opportunity for the author to revisit his memories and question the link between places and memory.
